First Birthday

This morning I woke up and realized, it's Mackenzie's first birthday.

I thought I would have tears, but instead, I was greeted with excitement.

My baby is one!

It's been one of the most amazing year so far. Some ups and downs. That's to be expected though.

Bryan and I have been trying to have a second baby for a few months now. So I decided this morning, what the heck, let's pee on a stick.

I waited and saw no line. I was testing a few days early. So it wasn't surprising. But I thought, maybe I should wait a bit more.

Then, a faint line appeared.

It's my baby's first birthday and I found out today that I'm pregnant.

I haven't told anyone. I am almost too scared to.

And Here He Is...

I haven't had much time to think about writing because well, juggling 3 kids takes up a lot of time! I'm sitting here with maybe 5 minutes to spare before the baby will need attention again, so I better get to typing quick! Each pregnancy has been so different. With Mackenzie, I was miserable for the first 22 weeks with morning sickness, and then I felt like I could be pregnant forever! With Bryanna, I was miserable for the entire 39 weeks. I could not wait for her to get out! With this one, I was miserable for the first 20 weeks with morning sickness, and then great for 17 weeks, and then the last 3 weeks...well, let's just say there were some tears. With it being one of the hottest summers, I could not wait for this baby to get out! Plus the inconvenience of not being able to pick up the girls when I wanted to, or bend down to give them a kiss - I just wanted to be mobile again! Week 36 - Almost Cooked!

Or as my friend Tara would put it - almost marinated. Baby can come anytime now, but could use 4 more weeks of baking (or at least I could use it). The sleepless nights have begun. I'm feeling more and more uncomfortable as I walk, sleep, and eat. I can only walk so much before I'm out of breath. It takes me a minimum of an hour to fall asleep. And well, I'm feeling pretty nauseous these days, so food is to a minimum. All this is preparing me for when the baby comes, I can't wait! (note sarcasm) Had my baby shower this past weekend and it was great! The ladies in charge did a great job decorating and a lot of people made it out, which was awesome. We bought our first baby item this week - a playpen from Babies R' Us (it was 40% off, I couldn't resist!). Next up on the list is a stroller. STILL trying to figure that out. On top of that, I'm now on the hunt for cloth diapers. Do we just buy the package deal now, or buy a few to try it out to see if we even
